The official play area is 20’x44’ some people paint or tape these lines in the driveway and have even seen lines in the street. So, the lines, a portable net, paddles and ball and you are ready to go.
If you are building a stand-alone court, an area of 30’x60’ would be ideal and is what is recommended by USAPA (United States Pickle Ball Association). At 30’x60’ there is more out of bounds than play area, however still less than ¼ the size of a tennis court. That is right then you can fit 4 pickle ball courts on a tennis court
Over 3 million Americans currently enjoy the game, and you can find a court near you by going to https://www.places2play.org/. If you would like a pickle ball court at your home give us a call and we would be happy to review the process and budgets
